The women’s emergency shelters in Gmünd and Zwettl provide a safe home for up to nine months to women and children in crisis situations. In addition to a safe place to stay, we offer professional counseling and support to help stabilize your situation and pave the way toward a self-determined life.

Transitional housing for women and children
Our three transitional housing units in the Waldviertel region offer a safe haven for women who have experienced domestic violence and their children. Here, they can find peace, protection, and professional support to help them regain stability, one step at a time.

Housing for up to 12 months in exchange for a small housing fee
Support in various areas of life: health, housing, work, financial planning
Assistance in finding housing to support an independent, self-determined life
