Computer Science - ICDL Base and ICDL Advanced

With the ICDL certificate, you’ll gain digital skills that really count in the job market.

ICDL Base
: Intermediate Level

Modules: Computers , Internet, Word, Excel
Duration: 6 weeks + exam
Goal: Using digital applications safely in everyday work
Extras: Personal support, e.g., with job applications and career planning

ICDL Advanced
: Advanced Skills

Modules: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Duration: 6 weeks + exam
Goal: To deepen your knowledge of Office and apply it independently
Extras: One-on-one meetings for professional development

Who is eligible to use the services offered by the Women's Career Center?

All women seeking support, guidance, or advice regarding work, education, or a career change.

Is there a fee for the consultation?

No. The counseling and services offered at the Women's Career Center are free of charge.

Do I need to make an appointment for a consultation?

It is recommended that you make an appointment for a personal consultation. You are also welcome to visit our women’s offices during their regular hours without an appointment.

I'm not sure exactly what I need yet—can I still come?

Yes. Many women come to me with unanswered questions. Together, we figure out what’s important right now and what next steps might be helpful.

What topics are discussed?

On job searching, career changes, returning to work, training and continuing education, job applications, and stressful situations in the workplace.

Does the Women's Career Center also provide assistance with job applications?

Yes. We help with application materials and online applications, and we prepare you for job interviews.

Are there any group activities or classes?

Yes. The Women's Career Center offers workshops as well as computer courses (ICDL Base and Advanced).

Can I take advantage of multiple offers?

Yes. Counseling, workshops, and group sessions can be combined as needed.

What happens if my request doesn't directly match the offer?

We help you find your way and, if necessary, refer you to appropriate, specialized resources.
